This backer is made from oiled spalted maple in a unique mosaic pattern and is double framed with oiled walnut. The hand drawn peony has been cut on my scroll saw, shaped to give a realistic effect and spay painted varying neutral tones. The flower and leaves have been sealed with a matte top coat.
This piece comes complete with a sawtooth hanger.
