Coastline - Humpback Whale

Garry Oak was used to create this solid wood mosaic backer and frame. The Garry Oak was stained black, sanded down to expose the natural wood grain and topped with oil to enhance the beauty of this wood. The humpback whale was hand drawn, hand cut and shaped as well as the water splashes. Hot glue was used to create barnicles and water droplets for a realistic effect. This piece comes complete with a cleat hanger.
