100 year old reclaimed Mahogany hand cut into a surfboard shape. My laser was used to engrave 2 large, intricate mandalas into the face of this backer. A white wash was used to bring out the detail of the mandalas and then sanded to obtain a natural, weathered appearance. I used my scroll saw to cut this large, intricate evergreen tree. It was shaped by hand using my rotary tool and spray painted with varying colours for a realistic effect. This piece comes complete with a cleat hanger.
